Alex Jungsten joined Austin Media Group, LLC (AMG) in 2018 as Director of Operations of AMG owned American National Combines. In this capacity Alex oversees all aspects of company operations, strategic planning, related technologies and combine event management.
Alex is a former college athlete who holds the current school decathlon record at Whittier College. His football career started in 2008 when he began kicking for Casa Roble High School his junior season, which went 13-0 and won the California CIF championship. Alex continued his football career as a three year starting kicker-punter specialist at Whittier.
On the track, Alex was a five time all conference award winner, 2014 SCIAC conference champion in the 110m hurdles, and four-time track and field team captain. After graduating, Alex became a GA at Whittier and served as recruiting coordinator and assistant coach for football and track and field.
In addition to his ANC duties, Alex serves as Operations Director for AMG track and field equipment division, Pro Day USA; and as Principle Consultant for AMG Consulting, which provides assistance to media and corporate project leaders with their sports and entertainment related projects.
Recently, Alex has planned and managed the combine operations for AMG’s clients, including the XFL, Alliance of American Football, and the Pacific Pro Football Scrimmage.
Between 2018 and 2019, Alex oversaw multiple combine operations, totaling over 2,500 players 16 different locations throughout the US.
Alex has a BA in Kinesiology and Sports Management and a Master of Arts in Education.
Originally from Sacramento, Alex resides in Costa Mesa, CA.
