Brooks Barron is General Manager at Athlete Training and Health in Houston TX. He has been with ATH since 2017 and is responsible for staff supervision and management and overall performance of ATH’s South Houston Location.
Brooks started coaching in 2000 and has well over 15 years of coaching strength and conditioning for elite 4 and 5 star talents many of who now play at such schools as Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Army and Air Force. He has many years of experience training and coaching nfl and pro level athletes in many different sports.
Brooks has 2 post graduate degrees from Jacksonville State University. After graduating with Honors at JSU Brooks coached football and strength and conditioning for the next 13 years in Alabama and GA for in Collegiate and High Schools.
In 2011 Brooks pursued a life-long goal to open his own business and founded MVP Training. At MVP training Brooks coordinated all programs and events and supervised a team of 10 coaches at multiple locations. In 2015 he won a Best Business in Birmingham award for up and coming local businesses.
In 2018, Brooks began working with American National Combines (ANC) assisting in the operation of the new Alliance of America Football league’s Houston regional combine. Based on his outstanding professionalism, can-do attitude and never-quit work ethic at the Alliance combines, ANC tapped Brooks to become Assistant National Director and Regional Director for the ANC Houston combine beginning in 2019.
